We simultaneously haven't been born yet, are living, and are already dead.

This reminds me to go to YouTube and play the soliloquy at the end of, A River Runs Through It. One of the great passage written in my lifetime.

Thanks.

A photon created by a star, light years in the past, is emitted across the universe, traveling at the speed of light, spanning the vast depths of endless voids within the universe, until it finally arrives here, being detected using scientific instruments and then observed under a photon microscope, in its “lifespan” aka the speed of light, is simultaneously conceived/in existence/decayed/non existent.

Havent you heard? It has an ultimate destination; to the sea

Goodbye, my friends
The stars wait for me,
Who knows where we shall meet again? If ever
But time keeps flowin' like a river
To the sea
'Til it's gone forever

This past week has been really hard. It seems to be getting worse. I read somewhere that grief typically peaks around month three or four so I have a ways to go. The thing I miss most is just talking to her.

She suffered a lot with her depression and things were really difficult sometimes. But I think it just made me love her more, even though I wasn't always good at expressing it.

It will get better. I went out with a friend tonight. Although your circumstances are different than mine, I told her that I’ve gone from 1 good day a week to 1 bad day a week.

I would tell you the same things I should tell myself, but it doesn’t always work that way. I will reiterate, the TD community has some great folks that can uplift me in the most random times. Even a message of reassurance helps. All I can say is that you’ll be ok. It doesn’t feel like it, and it may get worse before it gets better, but you will get through this.

In a sense I dont want it to get better because that implies moving on from her. Crazy thinking I know. I'm lonesome but I can't bear the thought of trying to meet someone, because no matter how great the new person is, it wouldn't be her.

I understand. That’s where our circumstances differ. The loss I suffered wasn’t death. You have sweet memories of your loved one, untainted.

Relative to it’s own time but not to us.

Not true unless you are a photon.

Time is relative. To a photon there is no perception of time because of their speed. However us humans are not even close to traveling at the speed of light. We experience time.
