Looking for a good dependable set of waders that don't break the bank

If neoprene I would go with Roger’s toughman 3.5mm for $70. You can’t beat that.

In deep water, I wear neoprene and you can get them pretty cheap. Like the post above, Rogers is good. I like neoprene because they float. Feels safer. A couple hunters died crossing the Mississippi and I've been very safety conscious since.
Shallow water, get breathable all day long! They will cost a little more, but way more comfortable.

All waders suck. I don't care how much you spend if your out very often they will leak. Chene, sitka, banded aspire, etc.... my hunting group has them all. My 1k waders may have leaked faster than my cheap ones.
Go to rodgers and watch clearance sales for your size. Order that and some shoe goo or aqua seal and patch as they leak. When they start leaking too much repeat the process.

True. I buy 3 pairs of cheap PVC boot foots and rotate throughout season.

Like one person said. Watch Rogers and catch them on sale. Got a pair of banded breathable for 200 this year. If u clean them after the season and re DWR them they will last. Put they all leak after a while. I also have a pair of 5MM thick lacrosse for really cold days but they still look new.

I have loved my High ‘n Dry breathable waders.

I bought 3 pair in the last two years and I like the Frogg Toggs the best.
They have an insulated removable inner liner, which I removed, and I wear a pair of drake waterfowl under wader pants. Best setup I’ve had in 25 years. Lots of room.

I got like 11 years out of a pair of FT's. Leaked as soon as I jokingly bragged about it and tripped on cypress

I have a set of Frog Togo’s that are 5 or 6 years old. I plan to buy again when these wear out.
