What are you getting/doing for your wife for Valentine’s Day?

Some will make a reservation at a fancy restaurant, some will buy chocolate covered strawberries, some will order lingerie, some will send flowers to her work, some will do something else, and some will do all or none of the above.

Been married 13 years. Wife and I have never given each other a material or sentimental gift of any kind for any occasion. It’s raise the kids clean the house make money frick and travel type of arrangement.

I'll cook two thick prime fillets from Iverstene Butcher and serve with my homemade salad & garlic bread. It's better than anything you could ever get at an overpriced, crowded restaurant. The fillets always turn out perfect and we prefer being away from the crazy public.

My frau gets mad when I spend money on shite for her on Valentine’s Day. Corporate holidays aren’t welcome in this household. She does appreciate the random bouquet/spa day throughout the year. The costs probably offset, but she prefers random surprises without the gay holidays.

I lit Ed Publix had Ribeye steaks in a heart shaped box. I was admiring the marketing of this idea when a younger guy came by and started looking at them too. I told him to get one, take it home to the wife, kiss her, hand it over, and then asked her when it will be ready?

Been married 31 years. Will hand deliver her flowers to work on Friday. Friday night we are keeping all the grandkids so our two kids and their spouses can enjoy V-Day and hopefully make us some more grandkids to spoil. Saturday I am checking us into the Remington Suites hotel downtown at 3. She has a deep tissue massage and facial scheduled right after we check in. Around 6 we will walk down to the Blind Tiger for some supper. Afterwards head back to the hotel where I will then get my wife absolutely shitfaced at the bar. We will then head upstairs for some fun time and will likely both be asleep by 10. Next morning lay in bed until check out then head home.
Might not sound like much but her mother lives with us and is a handful to take care of. My daughter is going to stay the night at our house Saturday night so we can get away. Caring for her mother as she declines mentally and medically is draining on my wife so even just one night away every once in awhile so she can relax and recharge her batteries is something she really enjoys.
