Of course many will still complain but Louisiana needs some positives. This along with growth in Education are positive signs moving forward. Still a long ways to go but at least it is upwards for a change.

If you improve education, and more importantly the populations ability in regards to reading comprehension and basic arithmetic, the overall more attractive they become to employers and companies.

Now, we just need to tackle licensing rackets and personal injury lawyers

Hard to go anywhere but up when you’re at the bottom. But I applaud that, it’s good news. Hopefully it keeps getting better.

As someone who put kids through Catholic schools, I’m glad the schools are getting better.. it’s ridiculous that we are put in this position.. the decimated school system is solely responsible for the parish having multiple breakaway school districts, causing inefficient redundancies

Cost of living is relatively low.

Winters aren’t nearly as bad as other places

Food is good

Not hard to be a big fish in a pond filled with welfare recipients.
