“We needed champion level human beings”

This cannot be real.

Did he really say that? If so, count me out until the mushroom cloud settles

He was talking about the new players and he talked about floor spacing for Zion and BBIQ. I actually misquoted it but he finished up with “what we really needed was championship caliber human beings and championship caliber winners”.

I just get tired of hearing him talk like that after all these years.

What we really need is a championship caliber Owner, GM, and coach.

This morherfricker can't do a presser without mentioning his Cleveland or Phoenix past.

Sick of hearing that snake oil salesman talk his stupid bullshite. He thinks he is the smartest man in the room and must study a thesaurus before every press conference. The sooner he is gone, the better.

It appears that he defended the 28 min a game restriction on Zion by claiming that he is working harder on both ends of the court. Has any player in the history of the NBA been paid that amount of $ and been under a 28 min restriction?!?

So, he talked in circles about needing high caliber humans with winner mentalities, but still going to build around a guy who exhibits none of those qualities

If you listened even more to it, he went into how its the Head of our Sports Science guy that is doing it. They are monitoring him at different fatigue levels and see how his body is responding, especially his hamstrings. He also went on to talk about how they’re doing different things off the court to change the stress levels on his hamstrings.

Exactly what you should want them to be doing in a lost season

Don't follow the current NBA much? Load management is one of the more common phrases for many of the players.

and potentially re-sign CJ. A guy who hasn’t won anything.

This is a man who doesn’t know when to move on until is too late and that’s incredibly dangerous for a small market team who isn’t even winning at all in the first place

And, you chose not to answer the question. Lets take your defense of this to its ligical extreme. Then. just sit him. Yeah, we aren't even to the all star break, and hes "playing hard on both ends" for 28 mins. If he's that fragile and the season is a lost cause, sit his arse so that way they can start fresh next year with "champioship caliber players." Look, I get that its a lost season. But, I also get that he's been treated like a damn baby for 6 years, which has led to this result. So, keep the pacifier in his mouth because you think that's going to change things in year 7?!? But, thanks for answering the question.

Aren't you the one claiming there were no others in the history of the NBA doing this? That is what I responded to.

Look at his face and the way he laughs when the reporter repeats the injury numbers.

What a psycho.
