Pit branch against branch. I say raise it to 20% the number who can be affected.

There needs to be a non-partisan way to get rid of the shitty ones, perhaps a threshold for overturned judgements by higher courts. Once you have had X number of rulings overturned by a higher court, your career as a judge is over but you can still go "back" to practicing law.

We need to bring back Jack Welch style performance leadership into fedgov.

Just the name "Jack Welch" used to strike fear in the hearts of loser employees.

There is already a process for getting rid of judges, or justices. It is impeachment.

However, Congress also has the authority to create and dissolve courts and set their jurisdictions, so they could change things to make troublesome judges ineffective.

That's a good idea, but, if the lower court follows the constitution and it is overturned by an activist appellate judge and he is overturned by the USSC, then what? Both have a point against them. Should only count if the Supreme Court agrees to hear case and it rules against whichever lower court.

I think there is a former Federal judge who was removed by impeachment that is now serving in Congress, or at least was. Of course, he is a Democrat. He was corrupt, but they didn't prohibit him from seeking elected office.

It’s called Congress doing their jobs. As we have seen by DOGE and the election of Trump, Congress refuses to do their job and keep the other 2 branches in check. In fact, the only thing they tend to keep in check are their constituents so now they have to live with Trump, Elon and DOGE. If all the branches were doing their job, as laid out by the constitution, then someone like Trump wouldn’t be elected. Then again, someone like Trump wouldn’t have to waste their time even running because there are a million other things he would’ve rather been doing the last 10 years than put up with the deep states lawfare and BS.

The way to fix these judges are to primary the current rinos and Dems. Put competent leadership in and begin impeaching these activist judges. Don’t wait until they screw up but rather go back and evaluate each judge based off their ruling and clean house. Don’t wait until there is a problem, it is past time to be proactive and go on the offensive. Most of these corrupt evil pieces of crap are stupid and lazy which is why we see the corruption we see. They can’t win an argument so they rule with an iron fist.

You could start with just basic job performance metrics.

You could add a metric for reversals.

Everyone profits.

Partisan hacks would just overturn every good judge's rulings until they weeded out the good ones.

If we did a better job in electing members of Congress, this wouldn't be such an issue. But, people refuse to send McConnell, Graham, Pelosi, Schumer et al packing. We have collusion among the branches, one of the biggest fears of our Founders. A lot of it is because we keep making horrible decisions in the voting booth.

and yet the RINO cowards don't even try because they are used to being coddled and babied

force a vote on it and make them declare their cowardice - while also shining a bright light on the corrupt judge

ETA: we need more filmography like John McCain standing up and squealing like a little girl about Rand Paul - in my mind, that's McCain's legacy, squealing like a little spoiled brat girl at Chucky Cheese

this is a great idea imo.. I wish they would do the same for referees..

You get a grade each game / case

At the end of the year.. you get a grade

At the end of 4 years.. you have 4 grades and the lowest tier of people get fired

after that , it’s a 4 year rolling average , the new hires are on probation for the 4 years..

or something like that

Make it a mandatory function of the Supreme Court ax them. They’ll know most of the worst offenders by name
