It's a team game but he didn't help.

Every coach has his issues and makes bad decisions at times. I just don't understand why Chest is in when the other team is in the try-to-foul mode. Chest is your worst free throw shooter at 44.7% , Collins is a 68% free throw shooter.

Good point. I absolutely knew when Chest went to the line he wasn't making those free throws, he looked worse and less confident with every free throw he took earlier.

It's awfully curious how well coached programs with an accountable culture seem to miraculous avoid stupid reactions like this by their players in the heat of the moment.
This sob is in so far over his head and it has to be obvious even to the dwindling number of supporters he has left.

More than 6. The technical alone was a 4 point swing. The dunk was 2. Then he missed 4 of his 5 free throws. At least 2 of those were in the last 3 minutes. CMM should’ve taken him out of the game after the technical, because we were in the lead, and he is a terrible free throw shooter. We needed better FT shooters when up late, knowing the other team will foul. We need Chest, but that was the perfect time to punish him, while secretly helping the team. It was another coaching mistake. Bailey also shouldn’t have been in the game late, or at the very least he shouldn’t have been handling the ball, since he is also not a good FT shooter. I would’ve put Fountain and Collins in the post, and Sears, and Carter at guards. The 5th man was a toss-up between V Miller and Williams. That is the best handling and FT shooting combos without sacrificing too much.

Until proven otherwise I have to believe he got paid off by gamblers. No way you can just mess up that bad.
