Getting crazy so I figured we could start one

Mark Williams to the Lakers for Knecht, Reddish a 1st and a first swap.

I actually hate that. Williams has been awesome lol

The fact they gave up more picks for Mark Williams than Luka is an atrocity

Is a points/rebounds machine like AD, but doesn't have the outside game. But still a good get for them.

Knecht

Makes sense. He became expendable to the Lakers with Doncic showing up and Reaves already there.

A high-level team can only have so many white gunners...

Williams rarely plays, when he does he’s good.

He rarely plays and he's one of the worst defenders in the NBA. They way overpaid for him.

He is the piece they needed: a big.

Not many 5s out there to pick up, Williams is a solid get and probably the best they could do.

Well, we’ll never have to hear about Knecht again since he’s not in L.A.

I'd say he is the piece they settled for not necessarily the piece they needed. Might work out but far from a homerun.

I love the Mark Williams deal on the strength of him remaining healthy. An athletic 7 foot center who’s gonna run the rim and the perfect pick and roll partner for Luka. I’m just saying..the Lakers are definitely equipped to make a deep run in the West

The piece they needed was a 5, he is a legit 5. He makes the Lakers better than they were without him. If you are looking at it like they could pick up Joker, Embiid, or Sabonas then yes it would be a bad move but that wasn't going to happen.

Anyone that wants to argue the Lakers aren't a better team (on paper) before these trades is out of their mind. I think they have the potential for a deep run, certainly better than they did. I think a lot of it will have to do with the chemistry between Luka and Lebron since they both expect to have the ball in their hands. I would actually argue they are better off bringing in a role player with good size than another star this late in the season since the team has a better chance to gel balancing 2 egos than 3.

The West is OKC and everyone else. It's a near forgone conclusion that they will make the Finals. They currently have the highest point differential in the NBA of all time.

#2 1970-1971 Bucks (NBA Champions)
#3 2016-2017 Warriors (NBA Champions)
#4 1995-1996 Bulls (NBA Champions)
#5 1971-1972 Lakers (NBA Champions)
#6 2023-2024 Celtics (NBA Champions)
