Shouldn't everybody be happy about what Musk is doing?

I mean, I understand that those who may be identified as 'on the dole' probably wouldn't be happy about it, but why would democrats, or democrat supporters, be freaking out about it? Especially every day tax payers. You would think Everybody would rally around rooting out and exposing corruption...especially when it involves tax money that everybody pays in. It is really weird to me. Seems like one thing that people would be united over. (I want them to sink republicans who were corrupt as well. Not a dem vs. repub issue to me. It's a thief versus taxpayer thing.) I'll never understand the mindset of some people.

It’s working in our favor now but I do worry about unelected officials having access to some of the stuff he has access to. I don’t think he is going to do anything nefarious but if this is going to be a customary thing going forward, someone will eventually

That's what I don't get. People are just irrationally mad. No one is coming out claiming the findings are false. This whole ordeal has been very strange IMO. Why did we even need Elon/Doge for this?

I just asked my 31 year old mechanical engineer daughter this exact question earlier today. Her immediate reply was, "They are cutting off aid to the poor people in need in other countries and no one wants 1 person making those decisions."...meaning Musk, not Trump. She is aware of what USaID stands for but is busy listening to what people in her bubble are listening to and may not fully understand how great this is for most of us right away. TDS is a real challenge for many that are not awaken yet. I feel like a kid in a candy store every day since 1/20..

A lot of people are missing the elephant in the room. You actually answered your own question… they are ALL corrupt. If they are squealing, they are stealing. And using these NGO’s as money laundromats to do it. There’s SO MUCH Democrat corruption and embezzlement it is absolutely staggering!!!! And it’s coming to light FINALLY. I bet there is so much of it, that if Elon is truly successful in his endeavors, Trump will be able to abolish the IRS and use the trillions saved from NGO’s to fund the govt, while injecting the tariff money directly into economic and industrial development. Think how freaking AMAZING that would be!!!! US would EXPLODE and we’d truly be the richest populace in the world.
