Need a new dishwasher

There have been multiple threads about the craftsmanship and reliability of Speed Queen washing machines.
What is the equivalent for dishwashers? Is there an equivalent?
I am tired of dog shite appliances and am willing to pay more for quality. Any recommendations?
NB4 wife being the dishwasher jokes.
P.S. is the main TD page dead?

We bought a Bosch when we moved into our house a little over 4 years ago. Absolutely love it. So quiet I don't even know it's on half the time and it cleans well.

Really liked the Asko that came with the house. Replaced it with a Bosch and have been happy with it as well. Echo the statements of the above poster

Nope. The high end Bosch's are the best. Miele I would avoid even thigh it's the top tier.
LG and Samsung are very similar to bosch in how they are built.
Kitchenaid is the top American brand but whirlpool and maytag will get you similar features for less.
. Avoid GE. Frigidare is meh.

No one will work on Asko and Miele and people like me who do are going to charge top dollar to fix them because they are so hard to get parts for and to diagnose.

I replaced a whisper quiet 20+ year old Bosch with a KitchenAid that is equally as quiet. You might here a pot rattle on occasion but that's about it.

Cove dishwashers are what you are looking for

I've never had one, but everyone I've talked to says Bosch. My brother has one and loves it; that's what I plan to get the next time I need one. I've had two Whirlpools die on me in the last five years, right after the warranty expired. I highly recommend the third rack if you can find one.

My dishwasher is 38 years old and it still works just fine. I load it at least three times a week too.

We like our Kitchen Aid dishwasher if you’re looking for middle of the line

Was your last dishwasher recently deported?

We have a 30 year old one with the plastic pushbuttons and plastic dial. Cleans like a mother and has never broken. Loud as shite, tho. We just run it when we go to bed. I'll just get it repaired. Fck those computerized motherboard ones. I've known two people with Boschs that have had to replace the motherboard inside of five years.

Kitchen Aid Signature line or Bosch. Same advice as with Washing machines and dryers don’t get the models that have every bell and ringer that she will never ever use, and it will likely cause a motherboard to crash
