Ah yes. Let's sell right before 10 states pass Bitcoin reserve bills, the nation passes one and then all other countries follow. Great plan.

See you at 200k

The US Treasury owns 0 bitcoin. The DOJ could hold up to 200k but I don’t know when the last time that was actually verified.

Barring a prolonged recession, 200k happens within 18 months just from Saylor and ETFs IMO. If money gets cheap again or states/nations start buying, 200k will be a joke.

I've been pumping BTC hard here since $10,000 and offered to buy the Bitcoin Standard for anyone who wanted to read it.

I've bought at least 15 copies and only 2 read it. The two that read it bought.

It's crazy how nobody wants to learn about the most important financial asset of our generation.

I’d love to have “gotten” it that soon but in some ways it would have been torture. I’ve only been going hard in the paint for 8 months and it’s a bit isolating. It feels like I’m giving people the winning lottery numbers and they think I’m touting a stock pick.

Bitcoin Standard

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll be reading over the next 2-3 months. I unfortunately missed out in the infancy but I don't see the utility or value disappearing.

I own bitcoin but not selling bitcoin that we confiscate is a little different than actively buying it. Just worth pointing out.

What is the purpose of Bitcoin? Because as of now it's a poorly speculative asset, not currency.

They already have a reserve of bitcoin

Every time they take possession of a drug lord or arms dealers stash, they get their bitcoin

“Financial asset” more specifically, it’s a currency

And a volatile one

It’s sound money which is infinitely more rare than a currency. It’s important to distinguish between money and currency. It clicked for me when I realized that I knew what a currency was but didn’t actually know what money was. What is the purpose of money?

Basically used to barter for goods.

I don't see people doing this with crypto. It's a buy and hold right?
