I compiled these from Scuba's recaps. Excuse me if there are slight mistakes, but overall gives us a good idea of how everyone's doing.

Batters sorted by OPS:

Pitchers sorted by WHIP:

Thoughts:

- Curiel is living up to the hype. He looks like he's gonna be a pain for opposing pitchers during his time here.

- Reaves has had a nice spring

- Priester

- Braswell needs to pick it up, not too worried about him though.

- Anderson appears to be that dude, building off a great fall

- Eyanson

- Mayers shows off his great stuff at times but crumbles when things start going badly (Hurd anyone?). Let's see if the staff can take advantage of the stuff he has.

Good stuff.

Check your ERA formula. It is off.

To be honest, the only reason it's sorted by OPS is because it was the furthest right column and was easiest to sort it that way After putting all the stats together I was too lazy to move the columns around because I liked the order.

Thanks, forgot to multiply by 9. That might help.

Not trying to be the math nazi here but it is technically still slightly off being you are using the innings pitched in decimal form. 5.2 IP is not the same as
5 2/3 IP. Either have to use fraction form for the IP or use .333333 for 1/3 and .666666666 for 2/3 IP.

I do like the batters sorted by OPS. My opinion it is the most important stat of a hitter.

OPS is much more representative and effective measure

Reaves has looked really good, he's challenging for the top LHH DH spot and even 1st team 2B with Dickinson struggling. Started with the 1s yesterday.

Thank you for doing this. Were the innings that began with a runner on base factored in to the ERA?

I didn't go to all of the games and just went off Scuba's recaps so I don't know exactly what innings had runners starting on base.

In the MLB with the "ghost runners" they do not count that runner in the pitchers ERA. If I had to guess, Scuba did not count them into his earned runs, but he would have to confirm.

I ignore the runners on base to start an inning as much as possible. Example: Two runners on and batter grounds out, advancing the runners. I score as a fielder's choice and an out for the batter. Example two: two runners on and the batter flies out, advancing the runners. I score the batter flies out, no sacf. I reaize this skews the stats but it is the best way I have found to be consistant with my scoring I wish Coach Johnson would play the scrimmages more like a real game than creating so many situations but, he has his reasons and I'm not going to suggest he changes anything.

Nice job compiling...you beat BayTiger to the punch.

Mayers is very much like Hurd. This past weekend he was lights out in his first inning. Then he got the first two outs of the next inning if I recall correctly and then walked 3 consecutive batters after losing the zone.

Hurd is an excellent comparison for Mayers. Stuff is so good he can load the bases and find a way out of it, but he will make you pull your hair out. He's just not consistently around the zone.

What’s up with Shores? I know he has ground to makeup following tj, but damn thought we’d see a little more than his spring performance

Also want to point out that Scuba accidentally left off this past weekend's outing for Dorsey. At least it wasn't there initially. So if Scuba didn't go back and add it then Dorsey's numbers aren't accurate.

fun to look at but there is no worthwhile sample size to draw from here
