Did you fly in or drive over the border?

I’ve done both. You didn’t used to need a passport, but you do now.
And you can’t go if you have a felony conviction or DUI.

Flew to Quebec City for a week and had a blast.

Several times per year. Fly and drive, depends on where I'm going.

Every year since 1977. Always to Saskatchewan. Many of those folks have come to South Carolina. No better folks that I have met.

My wife is from Newfoundland, so I’m there a pretty good bit.
Pretty painless. For now.

No one goes to Canada for reasons other than work

Many times. Love their demographics and despise their politics.

Which country handled border enforcement on the way into Canada vs which one for the way back into the US?

Both.
But it was way back when we didn't need passports, just our drivers' licenses. It was great!

I've done both, and even walked a bunch of times back in the day. And once by ferry, although it was an auto ferry, so I guess that would count as driving.
Only ever had issues twice. Once on 9/11, and once on the 1 year anniversary (both times coming back to the US, not going into Canada). Very understandable, though.

Flew in from Dallas. Spent a week in Alberta(Calgary, Banff, Badlands). Beautiful country. Not sure how crazy the people were because it’s been 20 years and I was a young Buck

Fly all the time and have driven a few.....
They treat you like shite, most of the time, in Toronto, BC, and Montreal....
rest of CA is very nice people.
And it is not the people, it is the security agents at check in.....mostly assholes!.

For ground travel? You cross the bridge from the American side like any other, then when you get to the other side you’re directed to a customs booth where you have to declare any items with you, present your passport and answer questions prior to being allowed in.
I suspect whatever favored status we used to have is probably out the window and they’ll be very aggressive with their questions for awhile.

Drove a big truck.
In Vancouver Canada the girls at Wendy's were bringing other girls out of the back to hear me talk. They were fascinated by a Southern accent. I told my brother, "you go on back without me."
Used to long haul tomatoes and oranges out of Florida up to Canada. Some border agents were a pain, some were not.

Ive done both many times. The weird thing is in Toronto flying back you go though U.S. customs in Canada.

Just trying to figure out how they're supposed to secure our border when they don't handle entry to the US.
We do
