This is what killing the program looks like

Y’all blamed Wade, this is actually what giving the program the death penalty looks like and that’s on Woodward. Had we rode it out, all would’ve passed over and we would right in the mix for the last couple of years with Wade at the helm. Woodward set this program up for a disaster the minute he let Wade go and settled for McMahon

You guys tanked basketball to go 9-4 in football

We sacrificed basketball to keep the football program out of trouble
Should have called the NCAA bluff.
Kansas and Arizona both did, but they are basketball programs
We protect the football program
The irony is this crap is all legal now

Sad but true. We've been worse than Les in football, and as bad as I've ever seen in basketball.
If Jay has another SEC start like last year, people will be raiding the athletic office.

The irony is the current state of the MBB is worse than any ncaa punishments/sanctions.

It’s completely unacceptable to be this bad with the resources LSU has. Scott & Mc are both clowns

LSU fired Wade to avoid a “death penalty” and, in the process, self imposed a death penalty

This isn’t actually true, just something people continue to parrot that has no real truth behind it. Scott just cowered like a bitch and uses this as a shield for his chickenshit decision

The program is not killed. The right hire will have this thing humming within 18 months

There’s no doubt about that, Missouri and Vanderbilt are perfect examples.
The question is will/can Woodward hire the right guy? The LSU AD has treated MBB like a red headed stepchild for decades. I’m not holding my breath any longer.

Kansas had the balls. LSU did not.

Well when you put it like that, it hurts a lot more.

It shouldn’t be hard. The guy is a two hour drive down the interstate.

Who still is buying into the Louisiana state retirement and still has a house on Highland Rd. just south of campus…

Wait, he kept his house on Highland? I thought he sold it?

Didn't help that Vitale wanted him crucified to take attention away from his buddies.
