I just bought it after all the years, new update and PSVR2 pushed me over the edge.

Cyberpunk is supposed to be incredible now.

It was unplayable 4 years ago.

Both games are amazing but I will say no man's sky keeps getting free updates. CP2077 is pretty much done.

No mans sky just never clicked for me.

Cyberpunk was really good. The story felt like playing the next evolution of gaming.

As an honorary recommendation ill add every civilization since civ 3 haha

Been over a year since we got any info on light no fire. Hopefully theyll put more man hours towards that instead on NMS updates.

D2's best days were after 1.09 but it was a perfectly serviceable game prior to that, too. Certainly not the shitshows that NMS and CP77 were at launch. 1.07 was the LoD expansion I believe.

I'm in the minority here but I actually like 1.07 better than 1.09 or later. Runewords just never really did it for me.

That and the Fallout 76 vid from Internet Historian are 2 of my all time favorite YouTube vids. Even the ads are good

I don't think anything can top NMS from a redemption standpoint. Cyberpunk, while more than broken at release, at least delivered on actual game features. It was just technically broken. Sean Murray straight up lied over and over over before NMS was released. The initial release was nothing as advertised. It was completely empty of anything that was shown before or told would exist.

Hello Games could have kept the money and walked, but to their credit, they stuck with it. I can bash them for their pre-release marketing and initial release, but I give them huge props for what they've made the game in to without asking the customer for more money, which a lot of studios would have done.

I’m betting Diablo IV will be really good in 2026.

FFXV Royal Edition is an incredibly fun, but flawed, game. The base version on launch day was atrocious.

Final Fantasy XIV had a nice redemption arc after bringing in Naoki Yoshida aka Yoshi P to build the Version 2.0/Realm Reborn.

I still say NMS's redemption is sweeter, but FF14 is up there.
