Al Sharpton has me thinking I might have to cancel my membership even though I like to gas up over there and also use the optical department. Anybody else feel the same way?

Yes, I’m done. They doubled down.
“Over the last month, Costco has emerged from the war on DEI as somewhat of a hero. They chose early and definitively to keep their DEI efforts alive. Fans of their actions rejoiced. And yesterday, 19 states AGs collectively sent them a letter warning them to stop their efforts.”

They are one of the few Brick and Mortar stores that is still a relatively decent shopping experience. At this point I value how they treat me as a customer over whatever their internal DEI policy is.

Put differently, hiring great workers who are also diverse is not the way DEI is structured elsewhere.

they just upped their pay to $30 for store workers, not sure company wide or in certain states

So you value convenience over principle?
The left is better at boycotting than we are.

I read last night that Target is lying about flipping back to Straight.
They haven't eliminated any of the DIE employees, they only quit funding DIE Orgs.

98% of they're shareholders voted to keep their DEI policies intact.

There's that small government we all know and love.

I’m done with Costco and I LOVE Costco. They have nothing I can’t do without. DEI policies are discriminatory period. I will not shop there again. There has to be consequences for their actions or they will continue with discriminatory behavior.
If you continue to shop at Costco after they told you what they are about, then you support their behavior.

You have no idea what "small government" means, do you?

No I care about quality products and service for my money. However the company achieves that doesn't matter to me.
I want the best possible product for the best possible price, with the best possible service. As long as Costco can deliver that, I couldn't care less what their politics are. If another store does those things better then I'll shop with them.
I'm not shopping at Walmart or some other subpar retailer because of Costco's internal policies.

What the frick does this mean? Hiring great workers regardless of race or sexual orientation is what should matter. You are cool with discriminating against straight white dudes as long as the “diversity hire” is a great worker. frick that. They won’t get another dime from this cracker.

So that’s a yes. Got it.

If a product or store used slave labor would that bother you?

Great point made (included w/ a burn lol) but the left does hold their nose to shop at Chick-Fil-A and purchase Tesla motor vehicles.

Do you never buy anything made in China?
If you buy anything made in China then you've probably supported slave labor. It's a slippery slope on products. And slave labor in a US store is a strawman argument.

Fair point, but the problem with them is that they inflate and compromise. Chick-fil-A is definitely not the same company they used to be.

Slaveholders liked slavery too.
Racism (DEI) is a vile construct.
Sadly, a company headquartered in the Paccpfic Northwest was always going to do everything it could to mess over America. It’s the way of the left.

Point taken.
I would rather just cancel my membership.
They are basically Bud Light as far as I’m concerned.
