Trump being in the White House isn’t going to change the political climate of the DC voter base. DC is pretty much its own city and most of its voters aren’t going to be influenced by whoever is in the White House.
It’s a completely urbanized, majority non-white city-state that’s almost entirely full of predominantly college-educated voters who work in high-income professions.
