It is the “draft eligible” bowl now. Taylor is there as well.

Changed the rule a couple of years ago to allow early entrants to participate in the senior bowl

Not sure you understand the nature of the game. It’s only relevant because it’s a draft showcase and if you aren’t inviting the best draft eligible players, it’s rather meaningless to everyone.

FWIW….. haven’t heard anything since the first day of practice where it was said that all 3 of LSU’s offensive linemen struggled pretty badly. So much so that it was being asked to local media….. what the heck is going on with the LSU guys on the line? Now that was the first day and hopefully all have shown improvement. Wishing the best for them, so hopefully they all turned it around.

There wouldnt be a game if only 4 year seniors were eligible.

That said, watched a little of both practice sessions and the LSU guys look good. Taylor and Jones may be making some money.

That would severely limit the value of this game/week.

Frankly, it wouldn't survive if that was the case.

Frazier looked good. The DEs struggled.

From what I’ve seen Frazier and EJ are doing well, I don’t know about anyone else.

According to Jacob Hester, all of the LSU players at the Senior Bowl are standing out. Jones will be playing Guard at the SB, so according to him, so he can show the scouts how verisitile he is and improve his draft stock. Taylor will be the first tight end off the board, and could be late first rounder.

Hester and TBob were in Mobile watching the practices and interviewing various people throughout the week. I don’t really listen to the show, but wanted to get the gist of how the players were doing being they were there with eyes on them. They both said along with a couple of guests that they were shockingly surprised at how the OLINE from LSU struggled. That was just on day one. I didn’t listen to any more than that. Hopefully they turned it around the rest of the week.
