Your husband is saving his arse by saying it's your shoulders. He doesn't want to say he can tell you are in a bad mood because your face looks dead and evil.

We know you're always in the "I spent money, I'm about to spend money," mood.

John Delony does this on his show all the time, usually when someone is recounting childhood sexual abuse and not housewife problems. He'll ask someone to recount something, and he'll say, "Your shoulders are up around your ears, aren't they?" He's never wrong.

If they are held in a position where they are supporting something above her head like a rolling pin...she is really wanting specific feedback on something she didn't get exactly right. I'm like 98% sure of this.
