He made LSU Basketball fun while he was here.

Think how far along we’d be by now. His final year here he finally figured out the defensive side to go with the great offenses. We’d be a top 3 SEC team

We were in line to have a top 5-10 team for 2022
We'd be right there with Tennessee, Alabama, and Auburn year in and year out.
Instead its now Mississippi St

This is so old and unoriginal. You are praying for a coach that was here 5 years ago that isn’t coming back. Move on. I miss shaq, I miss skenes, I miss burrow. Move on.

I know it feels like 5, but it’s only been 3. Plus, the guys you listed all had a limit on how long they could play at LSU. Even if they wanted to stay, they couldn’t.
There is no reason LSU couldn’t rehire Wade but for men (Wade included) putting aside their egos and realizing him at LSU is best for all of them. Wade would immediately generate interest that is approaching a decades long low. The donors that (allegedly) paid for guys like Reid, Smart, Days, Thomas, Watford, etc would pay for a new group of players. And unlike in 2018, discussions regarding paying players would not have to be had behind closed doors. It is a MANDATORY requirement of major college coaching…
as we watch McMahon notch SEC loss #31 in game 43 of his 2.5 year tenure while realizing Wade only lost 33 total SEC games in 5 years.

I don’t think there is any doubt we’d be in Auburn or Alabamas shoes right now. A top 10 program for sure

Tuned in tonight to see how they'd stack up against the #1 ranked team.
Not a huge baskethoops guy, but even I can tell there just hasnt been enough improvement in the state of the McProgrum year over year under CMM.
Watching these two 8pm games and it's even more apparent the disparity in coaching and talent.
I just wish they would win.

Jonathan Beasley with 5 in 2000.

Bad comparison. Lee wet himself every snap against Bama.
Deniers can change history in their minds but it’s true

Go down the road and fap to him coaching McNeese.

Yep. That kid was deathly afraid of Bama. There’s a reason Lee didn’t get in on 1/9 and I really believe he wanted ZERO part of Bama that night.

Easy for you to say, I'm over 80 years old.
All I have left is sports and Woody ruined that.

LSU let the NCAA get away with threatening them. We were concerned about football sanctions and let the NCAA black mail us into capitulating. When you take NCAA to court they fold their cards and lose. Fact is they would never want to get exposed in open court room with all the secrets in their shoe box. NCAA is leaking like a sinking ship when they are legally challenged.
