I could accept riot. I could accept disturbance. I could accept protest.

A 40-year-old man whom police have not identified shot Tamara Towers Parry, 57, multiple times in the torso outside her Southwest Hudson Street home around 1 p.m., according to the Seattle Police Department and the King County Medical Examiner’s Office. Police have not arrested anyone and are not looking for suspects, spokesperson Detective Brian Pritchard said Wednesday.

Uh, why not?

The fact that they know his age leads one to assume that it was some sort of LEO that shot her.

Yes, there are a number of holes and/or things that don't exactly add up in that story.

Towers Parry, who was in the midst of eviction proceedings, came out of her house and pointed a shotgun at the two men before the 40-year-old, armed with a handgun, opened fire. In a phone call Wednesday, Pritchard said the men did not work in law enforcement and were not there to evict Towers, but he would not describe the paperwork they were delivering.

Tuesday’s shooting happened less than two weeks after Towers Parry’s home was foreclosed on and scheduled to be sold at a Sept. 20 auction, King County housing records show. Towers Parry had failed to make about $24,000 in mortgage payments and still owed more than $225,000 on the home, which she previously shared with her ex-husband, according to the records.

I'm guessing it was ruled self defense.

Probably for similar reasons why Ashli Babbitt's murderer isn't charged.

Because the victim was an unarmed woman posing zero threat and the officer was a ____ man.

So they were government and were armed. And they won’t tell us what paperwork they were delivering.

Sounds like a pile of shite.

Sounds like the eviction guys were the aggressors... probably a civil suit at the very least against the bank/ mortgage.

How would they know if they're not looking for suspects? You'd figure the police would like to confirm this "self defense" theory.

They finished destroying her life.

Now they’ve killed her.

What was she convicted of? I thought most of these convictions were on misdemeanor charges? Is it typical that doctors will lose their medical licenses over unrelated (to their practice) misdemeanor convictions?
