Definitive picture for the 4th down play

Yellow line is the actual angle of the 40 yard line
Red line is what the yard line would have to be shaped like for him to be short
You can see the football and everything
ETA: added the blue for the “angle people”

Doesn't matter. Stupid play call. They had been stuffed already.

Any angle not right down the line or right above is skewed

You can see the red line is not close to the same angle as the other yard markers
The yellow line is literally drawn in perfect relation to the other yard lines

It was obviously a first down, of course everything matters.

At this point you just have to say the refs missed it
It happens.
It happens.

That was a first down
Shakir also had the first down on the prior play that even made it a 4th down

I believe when the Red Sox shook the curse of Bambino, it headed towards Buffalo. Must have been the wings.

Missing it real time is whatever, missing it after review is just fueling the fire. But just like the nola no call, it doesn't matter.
This is why I almost never watch NFL anymore. (besides the Saints sucking

The call of first down or stopped short definitely mattered.

I mean that angle is still from behind. If it were completely above them dead center, those two lines would be closer together. If it's not directly above or exactly down the line, it's going to be a skewed angle. I mean there is literally a video of the play directly down the line of scrimmage. Not sure why everyone keeps posting still shots from pointless angles.

My question is did they not have this view in replay?
If they did does their antiquated system not have the ability to draw a straight line

The computer takes the angle into play and draws a straight line perfectly parralel to the hard marker. The ball is above that perfectly accurate yellow line

Now show the definitive pic of the botched spot on the 3RD down play, which was a 1st down and we wouldn't be here talking about 4th down.

You can't count on getting a First on Fourth Down that many times.
If he made it or not, they put it in the hands of someone else (refs) to make the call.

Yall are completely lost
The blue line is a skewed angle
The yellow line is computer generated accurate
The red line is what the refs say exist

"Doesn't matter that the play worked but was called incorrectly because they had been stopped before." What a fricking retard.

The other indefensible thing is the nfl has and is allowed to merge two different angles with time stamps
You can see below. At the time Allen is even with the chiefs player head across the line to gain the overhead image shows the ball is past his forearm
It’s clear man, just admit it
