After the penalty I think most teams opt to go for 2 from the 1.5 yardline or wherever the ball gets placed.

It's so short-sighted. It's solely looking at the next possession instead of how the game can play out.
Even if he kicked the second one, now the Bills have the ball up 2 and could go up by two possessions.
