At least do something to show you give a damn

What's the point? He's the perfect tank commander. Fire him in the off-season, once we've locked up a top 3 pick.

Firing Dennis Allen resulted in the Saints getting the 9th pick in the draft instead of a top 3 pick.

NFL doesn’t have a lottery

Letting Griff make a coaching hire would be the exact opposite of us showing we give a damn.
We're cleaning house this offseason.

That’s true, but moving up in the lottery is not a given
Saints missed out on a potential franchise QB, edge rusher, or Hunter
Why not let Willie operate the tank? There are no negatives imo. It’s not as if we have some hidden gem answer at HC on our coaching staff.
Our only chance to become relevant again is to hit on a top 5 pick. The guys we have in the building are not going to do it for us. We have a 6 year sample size of Z and Ingram not being high level, winning basketball players.

Meanwhile Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero dropped 32 a piece tonight. Who would have thought they’d be a better duo than BI and Z a couple years back.

My assumption is CWG hasn’t had shite to do with who’s healthy and not. Dude walks around acting important but really waiting on Nola to find a deal where he gets traded too. Willie’s playing career showed efficiently and endurance. None of that occurs with this crew. He’s going down with the ship.
My pick
Chris Paul, don’t see him coaching without gm power. If he coaches, he rolls into pops position.
Cp3 could accept a gm\coach\share holder deal. Part ways with griff on professional terms. CWG could stay.
An organization is not really worth its time without a leader. Cp3 should be on the list. Dudes soon to retire and the organization has nothing to lose.
Or find a fudging city\state who cares, sell em, and bring back the baby cakes!!!

I'm glad they fired his arse when they did because he was a smug prick, BUT giving Rizzi a chance to win the job definitely cost us draft spots. Top 5 for sure, so yeah might as well have let DA drive. I 100% agree to let WG drive the tank the rest of the season.

I think Willie has some photos of Gayle Benson & Mickey Loomis doing the nasty.

Can't fire Willie until Griffin is gone. You now have a bunch of players more concern with individual offensive stats than wins.
The problem goes back to the end of last season with Brandon. Ingram was thrown under the bus and disrespected by management or a disgruntled player. Someone within the organization released the locker room flare up between Ingram and Green. A locker room is a sanctuary among players that was violated. It was released to diminish a player's value within the organization. A player the majority considered as their leader. This is a classic way to lose the team chemistry.
It so similar to what happened with the Saints when Winston disregarded Allen's call to knee against Atlanta. Allen's reaction was start of the downfall and carried into the next season.

Its pointless we are a c teir franchise this is what you get.
A floundering interior designer is the owner of the team, seriously what do yall expect.
There is no accountability in the top level of each organization saints or pels.

Willie’s a fine coach. You internet GMs always want someone fired.

CP coming back as a Coach/GM to Nola would be iconic.
Posted on 1/27/25 at 8:49 pm to nicholastiger
I honestly think the only reason they are keeping him is because he is cheap. One of the lowest paid coaches in the league….you get what you pay for sometimes.

Gayle for the love of god.

Can’t fire Griffin either until the BI situation is settled. Not sure if he will be able to trade him before rhe deadline either
