Big gamble by him. Dude can obviously be like Ben Johnson and be the hottest thing on the market next year with another season with Allen or he’s Bobby Slowik if the bills struggle.

When this happens, it usually means the coach got word - or had a feeling - they were not getting the job.

He ain’t ready to be a HC

Well that’s that. We are fricking screwed. Loomis will hire McCarthy and we will be the picture of mediocrity the next several years
Posted on 1/25/25 at 5:13 pm to tigerfan84
Nobody wants to work with Loomis

The silver lining is it hopefully wakes up Gayle
I don’t think Glenn or Brady was the answer either way

Tried to tell you guys, Glenn set the road map on what it will take to get a better candidate. In Rizzi we trust!
Sell the damn team!

Good decision by him!
Stay with a winner, or join a trainwreck?

As sad as it is to say, I feel like we’ve got some rough years ahead of us. We’ll need to draft well and build a solid foundation to justify a top coach coming here.

Also said the Saints HC is about the 50th best coaching job in the NFL. There are about 20 coordinator jobs better as Brady reminded us today.

I believe this. He’s had great PR in his young career but I haven’t seen any evidence that he’s more ready for a HC role than any other top OC.
The Saints need someone who can guide the entire organization and build a winning culture. I can’t see that being Brady at this point in his career.

She will probably turn it over to the players and it’ll be Rizzmas. (We are gonna suck for a few years so i wouldn’t hate it i guess)

Lol not likely. More so it was learned that the saints were holding out for him and he went ahead and broke their hearts early so we could move on and hire our 5th choice instead
