Why McCarthy scares me !!

I think McCarthy and Loomis would try to win now….. and not tear down everything for a rebuild.
Both guys are old vets and not willing to wait another 4+ years to build a LONGTERM WINNER.
They will keep Carr and keep kicking the CAP can down the road.
With shitty draft picks mixed in the soup.

I wish the Saints had embraced this 2 years ago.

McCarthy isn’t the problem.

Thanks for also providing evidence to back up your emotional rant.
Nothing you said has any evidence based in reality. Only your emotional opinion.

It is an opinion……
This is a discussion board Mr Snipe for a Sports Team….
This is not the Journal for American Medicine !!
Ok, I’ll play your game:
Show me your empirical evidence of why the BEST coaches in the league should want the Saints Job.

Don’t call me Sir.
I’m not your dad (I don’t think) and I’m definitely not a respectable person.
But to your question, I have no clue what you’re talking about. The BEST coach’s in the league always get to choose their destination. Why don’t they want to come to the Saints? Could be many reasons but most of what the sissies on this site are claiming is just pure speculation and Eyore type vagina melting BS with no facts to support it.
It’s simple most of you will melt down no matter who is hired because melting down is to the only attention you people get.

3rd stupid thread of the day for you. Ya on a roll..

McCarthy would be a home run hire with Loomis as GM. The coach did nothing, but win with a team run by literally one of the worst owners in the league. I’m all in.

No one is waiting 4+ years to build a winner. Stop making shite up.

Even if you tried, you can't generate more than ~40mil in cap space this year.
Hit in the draft and attack the offseason the same way you did last year, just get low risk, high reward guys.
Start 2026 with positive money and go from there.
Seriously think of it this way, lets say you do this offseason right, you get about ~30mil in cap space next year (midde of the pack).
As for this year:
Offense: QB (Carr), RB1/2 (Kamara, Miller), WR2/3 (Olave, Shaheed), TE2 (Moreau), LT/RT (Fuaga, Penning), C (McCoy), RG (Ruiz).
Your biggest holes going into 2025: WR1, TE1, and LG; backup OG/OT
Defense: DE (Granderson), DT (Bresee), MLB (Davis), OLB (Werner), CB2/3 (Taylor, McKinstry), S (Mathieu)
Your biggest holes going into 2025: DE (bookend replacement for Jordan/Young), DT (upgrade alongside Bresee), LB (eventual Davis replacement), SS/FS (eventual Mathieu replacement and solid starter).
Lets just be hopeful and you hit on 4 guys (should be possible considering you have 4 picks in top 3 rounds. You could very well look at going into 2026 with only 4 holes (not including free agency). No need to try too hard this year.

Tigerbait…….
I smelled your putrid stench as I opened the tigerdroppings site.
You just don’t understand do you….
You were shorted when it came to intelligence…… but the world will always need ditch-diggers …..
so there’s hope for you yet. :)

Ok,
Snipe says that everyone’s comments here are speculation and opinion…..
That’s it….
Turn off the lights and shut down the site!!
