Us native Houston area Tigers will be happy to show you the door as you get off of the Astros fan bus...

Been a fan since 1963 and seen many players come and go and just because Bregman played for LSU doesn't change my mind as an Astros fan.

Most likely, but some think there is still a chance that door is still open as he's not getting the offers that he expected.

Let me guess, you’re a fan of one of these 3:
Yankees (idiots there are fans because of Guidry)
Cubs - ole Harry Carey drunks watched them play day baseball because of WGN
Braves - never understood this outside of watching it on TBS. How the frick could ANYONE like that fricking trashy arse franchise. Especially since they are all Dems and yall claim Trump as y’all savior.

Yet the Astros is the closest franchise to the most people in La.

To each their own, but I've always found those fans who base their ENTIRE team fandom on 1 player.

When that player retires, or just gets bounced out of the league do you stop being a fan of the sport altogether? Or do you find another player to follow along with? Really, I'm genuinely curious

Prolly the Dodgers like everyone else. They aren’t quite over the $400 million mark yet. He can put them there

Yeah, I've been a Dodgers fan since I was just a little kid and they had Koufax and Drysdale. Through the ups and downs, they have always been my team.

I HAVE been a fan of individual players on other teams (Mickey Mantle, Tom Seaver, Nolan Ryan), but my team allegiance has never changed and never will, regardless of players that come and go.

Bregman convinced himself he was going to get some 7+ year deal when he’ll be 31 at the start of the season and has done next to nothing since 2019.

Like Correa, Springer and soon-to-be Tucker, he’s going to regret not staying in Houston.

I think Houston is probably going to regret letting almost the entire core of their team walk the past few years

Those other dues also still got paid so not sure why they would regret leaving

I'd like to see my Nationals take a run at him. We need a 3rd baseman badly, and he brings a veteran presence with a winning pedigree to a young team, much like Jayson Werth did back in the day.
