My best baw just got engaged and I’m in charge of the bachelor party. Most of us are setup well enough to consider some decent options for travel and overnight - not limited to the local strip clubs and cheap wings/beer.

So far, the vote has been for stateside, Vegas; out of the country, Cabo. Looking for some pros/cons, experiences and recommendations on accommodations.

Edit: not my best bae. frick me.

Both might fun for a small group but IMO, too much for a large group.

I'd personally much prefer other places but I'm almost 50 now, Vegas is my nightmare and I also don't refer to my friends as "bae".

No one can give you the right answer. I’ve been to both several times. Personally, I’d get a house in Cabo and hangout at the house and the beach and go out at night.

But I’m not a strip club guy (Cabo has them as well just not interested)

With a big group Vegas is going to be hella expensive, its going to be hard to get in a lot of places with a group of 10 or more dudes without buying a table

Agree, the bigger the group the less "structure" usually works best.

A house down in Key West or something domestic makes more sense to me to help mitigate issues and allows or last minute adds for people without a passport if tat situation arises

I'd definitely pick cabo. Rent a house in pedregal area, hire a chef for dinners. charter a boat and fish, and hire some entertainment to go along.

If it's me, between those two I'm absolutely leaning Cabo.

Cabo.
Vegas is crazy expensive to party.
Unless maybe you stay in old Vegas. Then it’s expensive, but not crazy expensive.
Cabo for the win.

Sharing what I heard from separate parties recently, Mexico will save you money and be able to do more with less. All inclusive resorts vs. Overpriced everything in Vegas. If your buddy likes to gamble then that would be the only reason to go to Vegas.

Just based on what I read during the LSU/USC game, Vegas has become astronomically expensive.

With this choice...Vegas! So much to do. A night on Fremont street is always great. Have the groom ride the rides on the stratosphere. Catch blue man group and/or Cirque-de-Sole.

Colombia might actually be doable, but they're also likely to end up with at least one friend that goes home with no wallet or valuables.

Vegas is worth doing once if you haven’t don’t it before

But you can do a lot with the thousands you save from getting sections at the pool parties and night clubs. Cabo is a fun bachelor party spot that still has debauchery if you’re looking for it

Eh, maybe only the friend that meets some local "friends" and invite them back to their room. And that friend would still say it was the best bachelor party ever, Colombia can do that to you.

Also, Cabo over Vegas for a bachelor party.

I can't tell if this is a serious post. Fremont St is fun but the rest...

That's the exact scenario I was envisioning. Add in the blindness that dudes will get because of the language barrier, and the teeth shattering hotties running around, our IQ drops by 45 points. If you're dealing with trashy Vegas whores, at least you can pick up on certain cues which tell you to book an additional sterile room with no belongings to steal.
