We can now keep Bull and Black Tip Sharks of any size and quantity within State Waters.

These any good? Whose ready for Blackened Black Tip?

don't know how they taste, but I don't think anyone will be upset if the bull shark population is thinned.

I'd much rather they address pogey boats and bring La. into alignment with other states regarding where they can operate. We are always the last to do anything.

Except raise taxes and spend more.

Not trying to hijack my own thread but I couldn’t agree with you more. The pogey boats need to go and when they do our fisheries will grow beyond measure.

Tons of little bulls (mistaken for blacktips all
The time) on the coast. I would try one

I catch a decent amount of Bull Sharks in LP during summer.

yeah, I wasn't trying to derail your thread either. Just the first thing that always comes to mind when I see anything LDWF related.

Black tip s excellent table fare. No special preps necessary on the under 24” ones. I cut into 6-8” steaks and blacken or bronze them. But great on grill as well. This will help our cause as they’ve ruined a many trout trip last few years.

If by "keep" do they mean shoot in the head and cut the line?

There is a decent number of closet tree-huggers on this board I've noticed.

Took some blacktip, cut it into 2" x 2" squares. Threw them in a pan with a few sticks of butter, seasoning, garlic etc. While we were cooking a pig in a coonass microwave we set the pan directly on top the coals.

Some drinking ensued, no time was kept and when we pulled them off they were so good.

I had heard this was coming. Turn the Viet Cong loose on those damn Bull Sharks, it will shorten the duration of our snapper trips by 75%

On overnight dive trips offshore with the bbq grill on. Doing some night fishing . We would fillet those smaller black tip sharks right out of the water , cut some lines on the fillets , a little butter and Tony’s and right on the grill skin on. Talk about good

Kill em all that you catch. They need to be thinned out.
