Makes me sick to look around at other NFL teams that are filled their roster with players that the Saints have cut because they wanna keep old arse dried up over the hill veterans that are way past their prime.

They don’t want to. They HAVE to due to cap mismanagement.
The salary cap IS real and all the cutesy Loomising that everyone loved had real repercussions.

We kept old garbage like Cam Jordan and Tyran Manthiew and got rid of Analzone, Baun, and Hendrikson

I would love for the Saints to get a QB like Josh Allen. Some say Dart Ole Miss or Allar Penn State could be in that mold.

Loomis pushed all in and lost. Now he’s the weak stack at the table trying to hang around.
The only way out is to bust out, go home, and start over and buy back in after a few paychecks.
It’s over for him and he doesn’t realize it. A chip and a chair isn’t going to get it done.

This is the absolute truth right here. They HAD to get rid of the players that they did. And will HAVE to get rid of more. 70 million over the cap. Yikes

I had no problem doing this while Brees was our qb. Highly unlikely we ever get someone like him again. Do it was worth it.
This why Loomis had no business signing Carr. We were already in cap hell and he doubled down to try and save fricking Dennis Allen.
GM should take the future into consideration. Loomis runs the team like there’s no tomorrow with stupid contracts and trading all kinds of draft capital to move up for players that don’t work out.
