I must say, their hoghead cheese is probably the best I've ever had.... very tasty. And of course, the boudin is top notch... this place really doesn't get mentioned enough around here... ive never actually been, only had people bring the stuff to the office...
what else do they have that is good ?

Solid for BR, but different from the Boudin west of the basin.
Cracklins and Pork Skins are average...............
I grew up on Jerry Lee's offerings and still live nearby. Glad we have this place.........

I know they do cracklins, sausage, and andouille. Also a very popular lunch spot if you want a "poboy" (although i'd just call it a sandwich). You have without a doubt tasted the 2 best things from Jerry Lee's: boudin and hoghead cheese

Nicest people in the world. I grew up riding my bike there everyday. I still make it back from time to time and stock up.

Bro, we used to camp out in the woods back behind Jerry Lee's around the many borrow pits along the river...........great childhood memories!!!!!

It is definately different.
To me, it has a somewhat Jambalaya taste and feel to it, which I like.
The Hoghead cheese is definately a favorite. I get "EXTRA" points with the wife when I bring home the HH cheese,so needless to say I go by about once a week.

Sorry not a fan of their boudin.. but i was raised on Johnson's in Eunice and Dupre's in the Platte so I'm biased.

I kinda prefer Ronnies to Jerry Lees.. It reminds me more of the Scott and Opelousas area boudin places.

I like Ronnie's, but it's a little too greasy at times. But, it's got more spice in it which is what I like.

Frenchtown Rd. was a premier parking spot back in the day.............
Oh, and the wild arse parties at the Comite...........
ETA: Way back when it wasn't called Jerry Lee's, maybe just "Quick Stop". It was our place to buy beer when we were like 16...........
