How does this board feel about Trump going back on his TikTok ban

I hope he saves TikTok. I like looking at woodworking stuff. And titties. I like them too

He didn’t understand tiktok and was going by what people were telling him about it. Once he aligned with Elon and other tech guys and they said that the government was full of shite - he got on TikTok and and learned/studied it and decided that the platform is not as bad as the liberals were telling everybody

China has thousands of apps. I can understand if it was removed along with the other thousands of apps then sure, but because they are targeting TikTok which spreads “misinformation” (truth) which is why democrats want it banned.

His opinion evolved.

I remember when Bill Clinton's politicos were gathering for the Inaguaration and the military jets flew over and one of them mocked the jets. The other guy told him "no, it's good as those are OUR jets now".

Likely the same with TT. Trump's guys will root out problems and use the mechanism for strategic gain. Time will tell and we'll know soon.

I’m ok with Tik Tok being banned if they also ban Temu, Alibaba, Shein, and any other apps out of China. But it’s not about information, but content. People put their bank accounts and addresses in Temu buying all kinds of cheap junk.

China doesn’t allow any Western apps or games in their market yet ship their apps and games to the US and make tons of money. Seems like bullshite to me, we should cut them off IMO

IB Chinaman is literally shaking while reading this.

He used his brain and decided that TT is just another communication tool that millions of Americans love. There is nothing inherently evil or sinister about the app. Trump weighed the pros and cons and decided it was worth keeping.

Trump could bang my wife and girlfriends if he wants.

I have no issue with him changing his mind on this.

I don't use TikTok, but I hate to see so many people who enjoy it affected.
