Im excited to see what he can do on the court, but man I hope he can stay healthy out there. Would be absolutely devastating for him to get injured out there for a 4 win SEC basketball team and screw up his football season.

Maybe all that basketball will make him less likely to get injured playing football

No. Stay in game shape, transfer those skills back to the field, and keeps his hops increasing. Some of our best TE's have been basketball players.

Glen Davis should have absolutely played football too. Would have almost been unstoppable.

No, just 2 months and spring training begins. If LSU does not make the dance he will be at football practice in March anyhow.

Absolutely. Plus, Trey'Dez needs to get bigger and stronger to be a better TE, playing NCAA basketball full time is not conducive to weight gain.

Every player on our team plays basketball...i guarantee it.

I honestly feel better with someone playing higher level basketball rather than sloppy basketball in an uncontrolled setting.

He could change is body mass around some, but I don’t think he really needs to get that much bigger.

The only reason I wish he wasn’t playing is because I think he needs to be on the field for 90% of LSU’s offensive snaps, and to do that he needs to spend a ton of time studying the playbook

I don't how much court time he's gonna get in the heart of SEC play
let's hope he doesn't get hurt in practice

It's probably safer than driving a Dodger Charger.

No.

He's unlikely to play much...if at all. Plus, football players play basketball at the rec all the time.

Players for basketball lift during the season. I promise they have a plan. Kid has April May June July to bulk. He will easily he 10-15 pounds heavier. He is already 235…we don’t need him 260

Nah…I think it may help him in football as well.

Do you believe every player runs around town getting into trouble? so what about the other 100 players who don't play multiple sports/

For he record, I don't believe its going to work out and Green will likely give up basketball in a couple of weeks.

This.

But NO. "It's cool to have a two-sport athlete. Let's see what he can do."

This basketball team sucks, and he's not gonna make a difference. Not worth the risk.

I’d say basketball served Jimmy Graham pretty well.
