Based on his skating through today and the Dems fawning him, proves my point that he’s not on our team. He’s a deep state guy. This was a gift to big money donors in exchange for Vance being VP. He’s going to suck.

Rubio is a bit different because he’s one of them so they can’t dog him too hard like they did with hegseth and bondie. I’m not saying I’m a huge fan but I trust what trump is doing.

He’s an experienced politico who will add some experience to the cabinet. A guy like Hegseth puts us in the negative, so we need someone who knows their way around Washington.

He'll be fine. It's clear that Trump has learned at least one thing from his first term. Only put people where they can, and will, work the program. RFK has his nomination for a specific reason. Kash Patel has his. Trump is putting Marco at SOS because that is where his skills fit.

I think Trump is using him to influence certain people. I can't see Little Marco influencing Trump to any degree whatsoever.
He apparently had a cooling out with the Republican establishment in DC, specifically a chilling relationship with the Old Crow. Rubio came to DC riding a wave of Tea Party anti establishment, became enamored with the power players and seduced by the dark side of DC politics, then had a distancing and somewhat of a return to his roots the last few years.
I'd watch him but I don't really think he's a threat.

People bitch about this, but it's the fricking truth. You can only navigate the swamp if you're from the swamp.
Trump learned from his first term how stupid it was to put an outsider in that position.

Little Marco has White House aspirations. He's not going to do anything to alienate Trump voters, because he knows he will end up like Romney and Pence.

As a Floridian this is I think pretty spot on. Once he failed horribly running for POTUS the carrot they put in front of him disappeared.

hes much more in line w trump policies than most think... he has a chance to become #2 on the bench behind Vance if things go well. And something people dont seem to understand is Trump really really likes Marco and listens to him, especially on central and south american issues
