I can’t find one for the Mizzou or Ole Miss game.

I tried the same. They must not do it for road games

Haven't done it for road games at all under MM tenure. They usually recap the road games during the monday press conferences

Thanks for the update.

Probably not something you want to do when you lose 95% of them.

As much as a hate the lack of insight that there is into the program, making the team stick around after the road game is something I can agree with.

Only one media member has been traveling to away games. Somebody named Toyloy Brown III apparently is the Advocate's beat reporter for LSU men's basketball.
I'm guessing he just meets with Matt McMahon outside the locker room door after games, asks 2-3 questions and they both call it a night.
The interest in men's basketball here has fallen to a 50-year low. Whatever spark there was during the pre-conference winning streak has vanished in the winless SEC start.
Empty seats have to concern the athletic director. Does even he still go to the home games?

There is no in depth media coverage for LSU mens basketball, it gets about the same coverage at this point as Track and Field.

Never seen a men’s BB team at LSU that’s covered less. It’s like they have MM in a protective cocoon until he’s gone so people will forget about him.

There would have typically been a press conference yesterday for MBB and I can’t find any evidence of one. Very strange…

I typically watch his interviews on youtube and there hasn't been one posted in nearly a week and a half since the vanderbilt loss. There's almost no local media coverage of the games either. Its strange to say the least for what should be the #2 sport at the school to be getting less coverage than the gymnastics team. You almost have to wonder if Scott is pulling strings behind the scenes to keep Mcmahon out of the spotlight and keep heat off of him

I don't think it is that. McMahon is not a guy who is always searching for attention as is. But when you are losing consistently and there is very little life in the program you REALLY don't want to have to answer questions about it.

I get that. But typically coaches are contractually obligated to do press conferences/interviews, I would assume its the same with Mcmahon. I know why he isn't doing them (that's fairly obvious), my question is more of how he is skating around doing them

We have a men’s BB team ? I thought we quit that after we caved to the NCAA like giant pussies

Men’s college basketball is a dying sport
LSU is ahead of the curve with it being dead already

I still get the Advocate and the game story for the Ole Miss game was on p. 5 below the fold for all you old-timers! That's where we are.
