He should 100% get an interview- If we are going to interview mike fricking Kafka

He doesn’t want to interview. Probably because he’s comfortable in LA. Has a 15/10 wife 20 years younger than him, $5mm home in Calabasas (summer house in Malibu), 68° year round.
Or, you know, he could live here and would probably bottom out his car and get twerked on by some 400 pound black woman at goldmine. Hard choice!

As many 400lb black women I’ve seen in my 52 years of existence, none of them were in the goldmine.
but I haven’t been in probably close to 30 years.

That’s what I’ve been saying, there are only 32 head coaches but the Saints HC is about the 50th best coaching job in the NFL. There are 15-20 coordinator jobs that are better.

Comfortable in LA ?? You do know what's going on in LA right now ??
Anyway, there are plenty of places in the NFL that are less desirable than New Orleans. Buffalo, Detroit, Cleveland come to mind.
If he chooses to stay where he's at fine, I don't want him. I want a hungry coach that wants to come to New Orleans.
A hungry coach, looking to prove himself ,will want to be here despite the location.
Hell, The franchise's most successful coach came the year after Katrina. Not exactly the most appealing place to come to

Rams finished #17 in scoring defense.
26th in total yards given up
20th against the pass. (Vikings, Bucs, Ravens, and Lions all finished near the bottom in that category and are/were playoff teams so I look and don't necessarily see that as a bad ranking)?
22nd against the run
tied at 21st with the Raiders with 38 sacks. (Saints actually finished right above that with 39 sacks).
to me Darnold was playing like a guy who was still reeling from that Lions game where the Lions bullied him and the rest of that Vikings offense.
but when you go back and look at what the Rams did after starting 1-4 and then finish 10-7 and win the division with a lot of young players (especially on defense) it really is impressive.
Shula obviously comes from a famous coaching pedigree.
