- Stop dressing like a Libertarian used car salesman (Pinstripes, crazy ties, turtleneck)
- Shave off the beard or trim it down to stubble
- Change your name from "Xan" to John or something
- Hire a digital marketing team or at least have someone do designing for you
- While you have a position on everything, which is fine, boils it down to 3 and only share those (TMI is a thing)

Then maybe you stand a chance

I vote for Xan every single election. I've called this man on his cell phone (that he posted on here) and he has answered all my questions. You can't do that with anybody else running for election.

I don't mind the name or even think it's an issue, but the rest of this is good advice.

I think that's actually his father's name.

Alexander (his actual name ) is not terrible. The Xan thing is certainly a bit goofy.

Dude has some good ideas, and his family seems to have enough old line political connections, that he likely could have broken into the scene in a more traditional manner.

I guess you have to sort of appreciate the originality of this approach, though.

I didn't think they were related although the John family is also from Crowley as well. Chris John that ran for lieutenant governor in the 90's a later became a congressman was a democrat.

Xan has my vote once again!

He is a man of the people who isn't scared to engage ordinary tax paying citizens in civil discourse to plot a path to pull this nation from the brink of moral and financial collapse.

He also isn't afraid to take an unpopular position on tough issues and if put into position, will not cower from or dodge them to save face or deceive his constituents.

He himself answers your questions directly and takes note of your concerns and ideas. He is quick to admit his shortcomings and works hard to educate himself and eliminate them.

But most of all he knows that this country cannot survive the direction our current elected officials and appointed bureaucrats have us headed with a woke military, reckless spending and endless entitlements.

Give the man an objective look and I believe that you will find that he represents Louisiana ideals much better than our current Senators.

He provides an alternative in the upcoming election cycle who will answer not to special interest groups or donors but to those who empower him by placing him into office.

Godspeed Xan and prayers sent that you can build on your polling numbers and unseat our traitorous Senator in 2026! frick the haters and trolls. Do not let them slow your roll sir!

He says that's his second cousin. One of the last of the Louisiana "blue dogs." He should have seen the writing on the wall and switched over and might still have a career. Came in second in Vitter's first senate race (actually ahead of Kennedy, who was also still running as a Dem then).

Pretty sure all the Johns are related (old SW La Lebanese family) and they still plenty of clout. I'm not sure what they all think of Xan, though.

Xan cares about Louisiana and all its constituents. He will do whatever it takes to make Louisiana great again. I’m sure his family is proud of him for standing for something.
