Would you share your lotto winnings in this scenario? $500,000 ticket from gift exchange

Would you share any winnings with the cousin that provided the gift? I sure as hell would not.
TLDR: Woman won $500K from scratch off at family xmas white elephant party. Decides to share wining with cousin who gave the gift.

A woman who ended up with a Michigan Lottery scratch-off ticket in her family's white elephant gift exchange scored a $500,000 prize.
Indiana woman Emily Hickox, 25, told Michigan Lottery officials she ended up with the Detroit Lions ticket after her family's gift exchange on Christmas, which is also her birthday.
"My cousin purchased the ticket for the white elephant gift exchange at our family Christmas party," Hickox said. "My dad actually won the ticket in the gift exchange, and I won the gift he brought, a flashlight. He wanted his gift back, so we made an agreement after the game to trade gifts."
The trade turned out to be a good move for Hickox.
"I scratched the ticket off on Christmas, which also happens to be my birthday, and thought I won $50,000," she recalled. "I downloaded the Michigan Lottery app and created an account to check the ticket on the app scanner. I was expecting to see $50,000, so when I saw the extra zero, I was speechless! I couldn't comprehend that I'd just won $500,000!"
Hickox said she will use her winnings to buy a new car, invest, and share with her family -- including her dad and the cousin who bought the ticket.

Why not?
You can't break them off 10k out of the several hundred thousand you fell into by pure luck?

I'd give them 25k each or so.

Yes I would share my winnings, generously, for a white elephant lottery win > $100

Without question.
I would probably give them at least $5-$10K. If I knew they were bad with their money then I would make it hard for them to get it, so I would pay on a CC for them or their house, without them knowing. I would just write a check and send it with their information, it will get applied, trust me.
I follow the tipping practices of Vincent Antonelli.

For real. At least that plus throw a nice family bbq or something and pay for everything as a general thank God.

Hell take everyone on a blow out all expenses paid trip somewhere cool for a week.
You treat everyone to a trip of a lifetime and you still walk away with six figures you didn't earn.

Cute but her teeth remind me of the front of one of those old trains...

I would break them off with a little something, but they ain`t getting half.
I don`t know if she needs braces for an overbite or what but, all 32 of her teeth are on the top.

I have my wife’s family lotto tix because I’m tired of buying pointless gifts.
It was quieter than a superb turkey dinner when they were all scratching them off.
Her aunt won five hundred dollars off my tickets I bought.
I was very happy for her.

No. It was a Christmas gift to her. It was given to her. ITs her money.

I am pretty tight with money but in this situation I tend to agree.
Need to be a little looser here and let everyone enjoy.
Theres a time and place for everything.
Hypothetical winning the lottery is one of the best games to play haha.
