So due to not wanting to travel at 11pm, looks like we’ll get off our cruise at 8am and not have a flight til the next day. What are some things we should see/do during that time?

I really enjoyed the Chihuly Garden. I think you also have to do the market if you’ve never been. And if you have any interest in the grunge scene, I can recommend this tour:

Stay at Marriot Waterfront near ship terminal. Walk to Pike Street Market & Aquarium. Take monorail to Seattle Center. I was there 2 years ago and found the downtown to be pretty nice... much better than Portland or San Francisco. Unfortunately, many department stores have closed and are still boarded up. Give yourself some free time at SeaTac airport. There are some excellent displays of locally made art glass.

Walk down 2nd street away from PP toward the space needle and you’ll get into my old neighborhood with a lot of restaurants & bars. This is also close to the Marriott Waterfront.
Some random bar
Trade winds
Bangkok Thai
Bath tub gin & co
Six Seven
El Gaucho

Space Needle, Pike's Market & Dinner on the water is what we did. Be ready, Seattle is very expensive.

Get fish & chips at Ivars on the waterfront. Catch a ferry to Bainbridge Island or to Bremerton.
