This is just going to be every team moving forward: these guys are professionals already. With the lack of restriction in the portal they are mercenaries
NFL locker rooms operate very similarly. It’s work. Even in the best culture locker rooms There’s guys on the team that never interact with some other team members and people come and go off the roster. There’s going to be tighter groups, especially for the guys who came in originally as freshman and have stayed, or have prior connections in high school or earlier
Given how few major portal exits we’ve had to date, not sure this was a feeling expressed by a majority of the team. Or atleast don’t care enough about it

Yeah, you could tell the way the whole team went out on the field when Weeks got hurt in the bowl game that there is absolutely no togetherness on that team!

I'm not going to trash him because he was solid (not spectacular), and had good hands when he was on the field.
But portal/NIL guys kinda lose the high ground when talking about locker room chemistry. He said Liberty was great; so why did he leave such a good thing? More money, better opportunity... for him?
That sounds like a "me" decision. And again I won't fault him for doing that. But don't talk about others being that way when it's your primary motivation too.
