I understand the frustration with carrying around so many services but Apple is the only one working to consistently put out high quality content instead of high volume low quality crap.


If you feel like sending a message with your pocket book for lack of a better term Apple is the service that deserves the monthly subscription. It’s putting out content on par with hbo 15-20 Years ago

Completely agree. That's why I was telling Bunchie about the Best Buy 3-month free deal.

Apple TV is top-notch. I'm kinda bored watching S2 of Silo, but between Severance, Shrinking, Ted Lasso, Bad Monkey, Disclaimer, I just started Foundation, I need to hit up Slow Horses and Dark Matter, quality stuff.

There is the quality over quantity aspect, but if you're new or haven't watched in a while,. highly recommended. Same thing like real HBO.

For those looking to do a re-watch of Season 1, or those who want to watch it for the first time, but currently do not subscribe to Apple TV, The Roku Channel is showing the first season for free.
I have watched the first three episodes and I have not seen a single commercial. I think Apple is being smart here, giving everyone an annoyance-free way to watch Season 1 to suck people into a subscription in time for Season 2.

For those not familiar with The Roku Channel, you don't need a Roku to watch it, you can just watch it on the web. Having a Roku device just gives you a convenient way to watch it on your TV. (Edit: At first I thought you needed to create a Roku account, but if you get a prompt to log in or create an account, you can just hit the X and watch it without creating an account.)

This is my first re-watch, and I'm picking up so much that I missed the first time around. After all these years, I think everyone will benefit from re-binging it before Season 2.
