This one I really wish he would cut out.
Canada is making moves for a conservative power grab, but these kind of statements are putting the Canadian conservative politicians in difficult situations and having to address a lot of petty distracting bullshite.
This is an example of the continual ineffectiveness of the conservative/republican movement in the US. Under democrat administrations, they are very effective at wielding power and working with allies in other countries to increase influence. Meanwhile when the republicans (well, moreso Trump) get in power they take shots that undermine potential allies. It’s very frustrating.
