I stoic my dick in my wife every morning. It’s great for my life, and hers, I assume.

"A Stoic life is a philosophy and practice that involves developing self-control, focusing on what you can control, and living in harmony with nature"

You ought to realize, you take up very little space in the world as a whole – your body, that is; in reason, however, you yield to no one, not even to the gods, because reason is not measured in size but sense. So why not care for that side of you, where you and the gods are equals?

Stoics 2000 years ago were depriving themselves of society and possessions to develop the self control the philosophy calls for.

Now it’s just nerds on the internet from their smart phone who can’t get laid

Are you referring to Ryan Holiday author/podcast/New York Times Bestseller?
I recently heard him talk at a conference where he specifically spoke about Stoicism. He has several best selling books, Only to have a complete melt when Trump was elected president.
His authorship is better than his actuality.
I believe it’s important to be brave in life. You can call it stoic I prefer to believe it trained emotions and responses.

Many misconceptions about stoicism.

It’s a great way to look at the world and syncs up with many successful ways of living.

Practicing stoicism is a useful tool for a Christian. In an attempt to be like Christ as much as possible, indifference to worldly troubles is essential for remembering God sits above it all.
