The sponsor ought to be furious. If the announcer hates mayonnaise that much that he is repulsed and gags in a trashcan while tasting it then maybe he should have told the producers in advance. All these mayo jokes these two announcers made the entire game was annoying. The game had wonderful defensive play from both teams and it was hard to enjoy because of all the smart arse mayo wisecracks. At first some of the jokes were clever, but it reached a point of unprofessional behavior. If I were ESPN I would not renew those announcers contracts.
