Holy sh*t how much do ESPN announcers pump sunshine rainbows up Boise St's arse.

Pre-Game: 100% of ESPN analysts "I actually think Boise St is going to surprise a lot of people and pull this one off." "It is going to be way closer than Vegas thinks."

Post-Game after scoring under 50% of their opponents points: "This was a lot closer than the score shows. They did an incredible job." "They absolutely deserved to be in the playoffs."

There isn't a G5 team that could beat a top 2 or top 3 SEC or Big 10 team. SOS is going to be blasted in committee all next season. It matters.

Because Boise St is not a good program. People on ESPN want them to be good. To root for the little guys. But there is a reason they are a little guy. Because they finish 74th in recruiting rankings and ESPN analysts are living off their 2007 win into perpetuity.

I am a realist. I see reality for what it is, the truth.

ESPN has been pumping that sunshine for many years, long before the playoffs. Boise St. has always been the little guy that ESPN wants to succeed because of ratings. That’s always been the case, and it’s still what’s happening.

Now they should play first weekend, but who you replace them with?

Does a few Fiesta Bowl wins make Boise St. a great team? I’m going with NO.

What do you expect them to say?

"This one is going to be another CFP blowout. No need to watch because we all know Penn State will win by at least 2 TDs, likely more!"

"Well that was a waste of time, glad you wasted your New Years Eve with us watching another shitty CFP game! Don't waste your time on a few more blow outs tomorrow!"

They want them to be good for the ratings. If everyone bad mouths the matchup, nobody will watch the blowout.

The commentators know it, but damn sure can’t say it. Just wait till Texas skulldrags Arizona St. tomorrow. Arizona St. being another team that shouldn’t be in the playoffs. With the way college football is going, just get rid of the conferences and go from there. If what’s currently happening in college football isn’t brought back down to Earth, that’s exactly what’s going to happen because billions of dollars don’t care about conferences or so-called rivalries.

There it is again on ESPN for the 2nd time now "The final score is not indicitive of how the game was." They want Boise St to win so bad.

I don't even remember what it was, but I don't put over $150 on sports bets. Meanwhile, I got in quantum stocks mid November. My whole portfolio is up 67% in last 3 weeks outside 401k's and won $8,500 on Trump popular vote 1-2% vote margin. Thriving

I also put $150 on Penn St game. Check my comment history.

It’s more about the CFP in general than Boise. ESPN is so invested in the CFP and they are going to do everything they can to prop it up and not admit how shitty it actually is.
