No, it wasn’t a masterpiece, but we still won by 13 points. Stop finding things to complain about, and enjoy the damn victory. I’m looking forward to next season. Geaux Tigers!

Baylor average recruiting in high 30’s and LSU Top 10 last 5 years - LSU never started a RB as bad as Pendergrass. MOFO couldn’t play for Newman. Try again. LOL

And double their points…… at halftime. When the game was - saving some early 3Q craziness -was effectively over.

It was clear Baylor couldn’t stop our offense when both teams were trying in a competitive game.

Folks can't watch a game anymore without going into crisis mode. It wasn't pretty. We had 3 of our 5 starting OL not playing and a 4th in a new position. Two of Nuss' main targets didn't play for their reasons. The defense wasn't what i wanted but we lost starters there and Weeks going down had an impact. We were underdogs and won. I felt like we were better than I anticipated considering all the turnover. And we have a lot of room to improve.

How were we the underdog?
We were clearly the better team.

Because Baylor only had a couple of players missing for this game, while LSU was pretty much gutted. The people bitching about a 13 point win as underdogs deserve to have their 2025 six times worse than how 2024 treated them.

Which directly resulted in several LSU players sitting out for NFL reasons.

I guess you can "solve" the opt out problem by simply not recruiting NFL talent.

We were up 34-17 but let them have too many chances to get back in because we couldn’t run the ball
Our field goal/extra point squad looked bad at times (again!!!)
The Kick off return and pick 6 gifts made it look more lopsided.
We won the first quarter then sputtered. That’s how A&M came back.
We are not good at holding a big lead. That is the concern. Between our lack of run game or terrifying field goal unit, teams are never out of it, unless we score 60

Does it really matter where your recruiting classes rank if only 15 out of 42 players signed in ‘22 and ‘23 were available for the game, bro?
