Sounds like Hilary Clinton and Obama, too

I agree 100%. Despite the humble act he was a total egotistical POS.
There. I said it.

He was a great peanut president

Scott Jennings never fails to brighten my day.
Carter absolutely interfered with U.S. foreign policy, becoming a bigger partisan later in life than when he served as president.
Here's to 2025 starting... and a big course correction. Unfortunately, I believe Biden will give away another $50 billion before he gets thrown out.

I didn’t know about the letters until now. Wow.

I'm just glad he lived long enough to see the new worst president, Joe Biden.

Come on. Carter devoted his post-political life to service.
He was also a man of tremendous faith, which was the bedrock of his service.
Lastly, if you call demanding Israel be realistic about compromising with their Arab neighbors as “Anti-Israel,” then that’s part of the problem.

Man...this Eric Daugherty brings great content. Yesterday we had a lovefest of Jimmy Carter on this board and Today Eric is performing Quality Control. Dude is a Rockstar

Oh, oh, I’m convinced he was a great president then!

Is it because Carter won't attend Trump's inauguration?

Not a Carter fan but he was probably the last president to not gain generational wealth in his post presidential life.
Compare that to the Clinton's, Bushs, Obama's and Bidens and it's pretty admirable

I don't pretend to know God's will, but I would imagine when he meets St. Peter, he'll have some explaining to do.

Carter was definitely not a piece of shite. He was a principled man who also was a terrible POTUS.
The two can be independent of one another.

He did more Christian acts in one week than this board combined has done in a lifetime, I’m sure he’ll be fine.

Carter definitely deserves criticism for his post presidency meddling. As a politician you can’t rehabilitate him. He deserves credit for his habitat for humanity and other missionary work, which is more than anyone on this board has ever done.
