Not likely at all. Transformers are loud as hell when they blow, but I have never felt a shock wave.

What costs more, getting permits, hiring an engineer, getting a contractor, historical society, rehab of the old structure....

Or just let it fall get a demo permit and build to buyers tastes.

Happened on OC Haley a couple weeks ago as well.
