How to go about listing a private firearm for sale in Louisiana?

Haven't sold a gun in decades, but I have a deer rifle I won't be using anymore. Back in the day, I'd have run an ad in the penny classifieds.
Are there any local pages or chat boards that allow such a listing?

Depends on what type of deer rifle you'd be selling....why don't you let us know what it is and we'll let you know the best route to take in selling it.

Someone gives you money and you give them the gun. You can write up a bill of sale if you want, its just peace of mind though.

Person to person. Give gun to someone, they give you money or vice /versa and you part ways. End of story. It's that simple and it works in damn near every state.
