I have a bunch of acquaintances that I knew when I was in the Army that I don’t necessarily need to talk to on a regular basis. It’s nice to keep up with them and see what’s going in their lives.
There are very few people that I give a shite enough about to keep in touch with through phone calls and text messages.

I use it primarily for a couple of run groups that I'm in. They post events, races, routes, etc, etc. Not sure what other platform would be good for that besides FB.
